WOODLAND RETREAT

Surrounded by trees, this idyllic property has rustic charm baked right in. A small set of steps leads up to the hut, which has a stable door – peak inside and note the attractive shutters that adorn the windows and the quaint lamps that hang from the ceiling. The compact kitchen features a small table with bar stools and thoughtful extra touches including a coffee machine with a supply of pods, fresh bread and freshly -laid eggs. There’s also a photo album detailing how the property was created, as well as a TV and an electric fire. On the left is a comfortable double bed with a high-quality mattress designed with a great night’s sleep in mind. Completing the accommodation is the stylish shower room.

Outside, the hut has its own stone-chipped patio area, marked out by a very low wooden border and two welcoming lamp posts. Here you’ll find a table and chairs, a BBQ, a fire pit and a wood fired Hot Tub, making it the perfect place to sit out and perhaps spot the woodpeckers, red squirrels and an array of inquisitive birds who visit from time to time. A grass area beyond the patio has two sun loungers, where you can sit back with a good book or plan the next day’s activities.
